Community Activities - Events 2021
January
The Community met virtually due to safety concerns and prevailing situation of COVID-19 for the monthly meeting’s on the first and the second Saturday followed by the fifth saturday of the month for the first time in the year after the winter break. Sessions of Praise and Worship were conducted followed by intercessory prayers for all the needs of the community. We are grateful for Bro. Simon Rodrigues who gave us teaching
The Women's ministry met virtually on the first and the third Sunday of the month. The meeting’s were presided by guest speakers Rachel Pires ( Member of LOCICC community) who shared her testimony and Philomena Sequeira who shared her knowledge on the topic “ Different types of addiction and the influence of family and children”. The talks have been recorded and uploaded on social media to be viewed later.
The community was able to distribute rations to the Jerome home. The nun in charge of the home whole heartedly thanked the community as they are able to manage and continue to run the organization on the contributions revived on monthly basis. The community were also able to distribute rations to the Gerizim home for the disabled. The founder thanked us for the continuous ongoing support.
The founder’s of the community Bro. Christopher Correya & Catherine Correya celebrated their wedding anniversary during this month. We are grateful and thankful to God for all that they have done for each and every member and betterment of the community.
February
The Community met together on the second Saturday of the month together for the first time together after very long time for a session of Healing and Deliverance through worship which was also held virtually. and posted on social media sites to be viewed later. The community also met on the second Saturday for session of worship and sharing by Fr Anthony Cruze who shared his teaching on life early Christians which left each one wanting to me more like the early Christians.
The Women's ministry met virtually on the first and the third Sunday of the month. The meeting’s were presided by guest speakers Yvonne Periera (Member of LOCICC community) who shared her testimony / talk on “Coping with the death of a loved one” and Merrill Pye who shared her knowledge on the topic “ Coping with Addiction in the family” respectively. The talks have been recorded and uploaded on social media to be viewed later.
The members of the community were able to reach the Gerizim home to distribute the monthly rations. The founder thanked us for the monthly support that they receive from us.

The meeting’s were presided by Sheila X’avier (Member of LOCICC community) who shared her testimony / talk on “Facing the Challenges of being single with the strength of the Lord” and International guest speakerPia Attard (Companion of the ICPE) who shared her knowledge on the topic “ Mary Magdalene., A journey of searching finding, letting go and New beginning” The talks have been recorded and uploaded on social media to be viewed later.
